We Help You Get Insured

Insurance is the biggest startup cost for new owner-operators. ZR81 helps — we can refer you to insurance brokers who specialize in owner-operator coverage and know how to get you the best rates.

What You Need
  • Non-trucking liability (bobtail) — required
  • Physical damage on your truck — required
  • Cargo insurance — sometimes required by broker
  • Occupational accident — recommended

ZR81 carries primary liability under our MC authority. You don’t need your own primary liability — just the items above.

Insurance Partners
  • Progressive Commercial — owner-operator specialists
  • OOIDA (Owner Operator Independent Drivers Association)
  • State Auto / Nationwide Commercial
  • Benchmark Insurance Group

Contact ZR81 and we’ll connect you with the right broker for your situation.
